Student Eligibility Standards (District Policy)
Student eligibility standards are based on the rules established by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA), as well as additional standards established by the Ladue School District and Ladue Horton Watkins High School. Students wishing to participate in interscholastic athletics or other extracurricular activities, either during or outside of school hours, must meet the established criteria.
For the 2015-16 school year, the district is collecting a $75 activity fee for all high school students participating in a Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) sport or activity. The purpose of the fee is to help offset the costs of these activities. Ladue Schools’ activities that participate in MSHSAA sponsored events are: all MSHSAA sports teams*, Speech & Debate, Scholar Bowl, and MSHSAA sponsored instrumental & vocal events.
This handbook provides guidelines for participation in athletic activities, as well as eligibility requirements, codes of conduct, communication expectations, and the Athletic Responsibility Acknowledgement Form.
